Missions at Cahaba City

There is a seat at the table -
even on the other side of the world.

Our mission is to create people that create life wherever they go. Through six trusted partners, we learn, pray, give, go, and send - carrying that same mission beyond our city.

Our Missions Pathway

Five ways to step in

Wherever you are, there's a next step. This is the pathway we walk together as a church - from learning about a partner to going or sending someone in your place.

01

Learn

Hear the stories of our partners and the people they serve, in church and online.

02

Pray

Join a rhythm of prayer for our partners, missionaries, and the communities they're in.

03

Give

Support a partner financially - one time or ongoing - and fuel work already in motion.

04

Go

Join a short-term trip and serve alongside a partner in person.

05

Send

Commission and support someone from our church stepping into long-term missions.

Where We're Sent

We partner long-term rather than scatter wide - six organizations our church knows, prays for, and walks alongside.

Common Questions

Missions FAQ

New to missions at Cahaba City? Start here.

Do I need any experience to get involved?

No. Most of what we do starts with learning and praying - no experience or training required. If you decide to go on a trip, we'll walk you through everything you need beforehand.

What does it cost to go on a trip?

Costs vary by trip and destination and typically cover flights, lodging, food, and in-country transportation. We'll share exact pricing and a payment timeline once a trip is announced, and many people raise support through friends and family.

I can't travel right now - how else can I help?

Going is only one piece of the pathway. You can learn about a partner, commit to praying for them regularly, or give financially - all of which fuel the work just as much as a plane ticket.

How does Cahaba City choose its missions partners?

We partner long-term instead of scattering wide. Each of our six partners is someone our leadership knows personally, has visited or hosted, and trusts to steward support well.

Can my whole family get involved?

Yes - many of our prayer and giving rhythms are family-friendly, and several partners welcome kids' ministry volunteers and family teams on trips depending on the destination and age requirements.

Who do I talk to about missions at Cahaba City?
